ReplyDeleteThanks Eric for the clarification. You asked that if we had any concerns regarding the rubric to let you know. I am just a little concerned about what you mentioned in class regarding those that were orignally called inate speakers from speech 1, having to prove some form of stretch from where we started to where we are at now. Will there really be a "stretch" from point A to point B if we started off on a high note to begin with? I am just a little concerned about that element of the rubric. It may be the most diffuilt part of the process and 25 points can go a long way. Just my two cents.
ReplyDeleteI just read on the April 20th post that our peer evaluation rubrics are due that night. Not sure what you mean. Do we create a new rubric for this speech or bring the one we worked up for our two out-of-class speeches, or what?
ReplyDeleteBarbara, Seems like I recall Eric say that due to the limited time we have had in the class and the fact that we openly discussed everyones speeches last week (for speech 2) that we wouldn't be doing a peer evualtion for the trade show speech.
ReplyDeleteThat's right, we ruled that out last time we met.
